DESCRIPTION:
Tunic style dresses have maintained their popularity throughout the ages,
going as far back as the Greco-Roman era. Sleek, understated and easy to
wear. This particular 1970s Tunic is done in a semi sheer thin layer of
printed silk chiffon. A second layer of fabric, silk crepe, acts as built
in slip or lining. Three fabric covered buttons adorn the top of each
shoulder. A long piece of matching silk chiffon ( same print as the dress
itself ) can be used as a head scarf or waist sash depending on your mood.
No label.
Excellent condition. I noticed one tiny tear near the
hemline ( an easy mend with a few stitches ). The abstract print is done in shades of
red & orange ( think
Cinnabar Red and
Cantaloupe
Orange ). Shown on a size 4 mannequin. The shape of the
dress is straight and column-like, it hangs and falls gracefully from the
shoulders down to the hemline.
Measures: Bust &
Waist will fit approximately up to 36 inches / Hips will fit up to 42
inches / Total length from top of shoulders to the hem 57 inches.
