20s Lavender Fringed Flapper Dress
Words seem to fail me in my attempt to describe this BREATHTAKING vintage Flapper Era dress! Expertly hand/custom made using pale lavender silk thread. No closures, it just slips over your head. Accented with 17 inches of matching silk thread fringe at the hem. Comes complete with its original tassel/fringe sash belt. Mint condition. No label but really...Who gives a hoot! Sleek. Simple. Sexy and Sophisticated. Unlined. I have shown this piece over a white vintage slip (NOT included with the dress) to highlight the intricate craftsmanship. The cut is completely unstructured and column-like. This dress hangs/falls straight down from the shoulders, enveloping the wearers body like a second skin. Exact measurements are almost impossible due to the give of the thread, however, it fits my size 4 mannequin PERFECTLY. I think this piece will work best for someone who measures roughly 35-25-35 (or whose measurements fall close to those I've provided).
