Wow! Where do I begin? This rare vintage 70s Stephen Burrows skirt and wrap top ensemble is almost too FABULOUS for words (and I mean TOO FABULOUS!). The set consists of a wrap top and a faux wrap skirt. Mr. Burrows signature Zigzag stitching (in red thread) appears throughout. Both pieces are done in a lightweight Saffron silk jersey fabric. The top features a plunging neckline, long slender sleeves and a generous wrap around waist sash. The Faux wrap skirt has an asymmetrical hemline and wide elastic waist band. Mint condition except for two extremely faint spots (areas) on the wrap top and a tiny hole. Due to the 'WRAP' style of the top these slight imperfections are barely, if at all, worth mentioning. The skirt is Perfect but you may want to have the elastic waist band replaced (I can't tell if it's stretched out or if that's the way it was meant to be). Located at the neck of the wrap top is the designers "Stephen Burrows' World" label. Shown on a size 4 mannequin, this set will work best for a modern 4 or slender size 6. Exact measurements are virtually impossible due to the WRAP style of the top and the ELASTIC waist of the skirt.
