What can I say:
Breathtakingly beautiful vintage 1920's hand embroidered silk shawl
trimmed with 20" of jet black silk fringe! The vibrant flora motif is done
shades of hot pink, red, magenta, peach and varying shades of blue. The
huge roses appear to almost leap off the black-as-night silk background.
These shawls were often worn or used to decorate the tops of a piano or
table...I say WEAR it and wear it well. The possibilities are endless.
Toss it over bare shoulders or wrap it seductively around your hips...you
just can't lose! The condition is Mint, with the exception of a tiny
pin-hole near one edge. An easy mend and not really worth mentioning. No
label but most likely made in France.

not include the near 20" of fringe that borders the piece.
