70's "Oscar de la Renta" Boutique Peasant Dress    SOLD

What can I say: For the fashionably 'in the know' Babe, who dresses 'Downtown' but lives 'Uptown'. Yeah, she went to prep school, did the 'Debutante' thing like all her gal pals, but when the sun set and daddy was away, she threw on her favorite Oscar dress and the gold bangles she got on the family's last trip to Morocco and jetted for the smoke- filled-dimly-lit bistros of SOHO. Got the picture? This boldly printed Maxi dress, with its plunging neckline and long cuffed sleeves is completely unlined and closes up the back with a long zipper. All original labels are present and the dress is in MINT condition. The floral motif is done in wild flower shades of red, orange, green and yellow. A deep dark, almost black , navy accents the bust, cuff and hem area. Listed as a vintage size 12, it fits more like a modern size 8...so pay close attention to the measurements given below.
