70's "Gunne Sax" Satin & Lace Dress    SOLD

Breathtaking example of the Renaissance style that Gunne Sax was and is famous for. Done in a rich heavy ivory satin and further accented with generous amounts of lace on the front center portion of the dress and at the sleeves. The sleeves are actually much fuller that they appear in the pictures and the lace is covered with small flowers. The bodice is somewhat adjustable due to the attached satin ties at the waist, the skirt if full and drapes beautifully due to the weight of the fabric. The bi=bodice and the cuffs of the sleeves also have little faux pearl buttons...if you love Gunne Sax and the look that they typify...you're going to flip over this dress. In Excellent condition...I did notice a little bit of what appears to be surface dirt on a portion of the hem...Naturally the dress could use a trip to the dry-cleaners to freshen it up a bit.

Measures up to: 35" at the bust, 27" at the waist, 40"through the hip area, shoulder width 15-1/2", sleeve length 26", and  60"from shoulder to hem.
