When I originally
acquired this "Amazing" custom made suit...it had NEVER been worn ! You
read me correct...Never ! It still had (and still does have) the Extra
button packet...with two unused buttons inside. I've said this
before...and I'll say it again...it really doesn't get much better than
that ! In addition to the larger "Custom Made" hand stitched tailor label,
there is another label that reads "Roman Imports, Finest Woolens, Made in
Italy. So lets go over this again...Never-worn-
1940's-Custom-made-of-imported-Italian fabric...I could just kiss myself !
I actually wore the suit once for a film I was working on...but other than
that...it's still practically "Never Worn". Done in a soft slate blue,
with just a hint of the thinnest white threads peeking through the
fabric...in a soft, lightweight Gabardine. The jacket is fully lined in a
luscious navy silk crepe. Magnificent detailing throughout. The lining is
hand stitched...naturally. The sleeve cuffs are trimmed with a hint of
navy piping. Two well placed front pockets, five small fabric covered
buttons up the front. The skirt is partially lined and slightly "A" line,
with a side metal zipper and one delicate matching fabric covered button.
The actual color of the suit is just a hint lighter than the pictures...it
almost has a denim look to it. I just can't say enough...it's a thousand
times better in person. Another Fabulous suit from my private collection !
