Late 40's Gabardine Suit HOLD
What can I say: A classic light weight wool gabardine late 1940's skirt suit, done in an alluring blue-green and black tweed-like print. The jacket is fully lined in a mauve crepe fabric. The matching skirt is unlined. The jacket has a large hand stitched label that reads "Jay's Long Beach, Calif.". The suit is in Excellent condition with the exception of some minor surface dirt that I'm sure will come out with a trip to your local dry-cleaners. One button on the jacket is missing and there's a tiny moth nibble on the hem of the skirt but even with these tiny faux-pas, the suit is 100% Fabulous and wearable right out of the box that it will arrive in ! Classic vintage suits like this one are becoming harder and harder to come by and have remained as fashionable today as they were when they were first created decades ago. Perfectly suitable for the office or an early after work cocktail.

MEASUREMENTS... Jacket: BUST 36"/WAIST up to 30"/LENGTH from shoulder to Hem of Jacket 21"/SLEEVE Length from shoulder to Cuff 24"/Across the shoulders 17". Skirt: WAIST 26" ( it would be easy to move the button at the waist to add an inch or two if needed) HIPS 38"-39"/LENGTH from Waist to Hem of skirt 30".
